Important Information and Updates |
|
One Stop Extended Hours and New Locations
To better assist you, the One Stop is offering extended office hours and locations throughout the Fall 2024 semester.
Main Campus (Bergami Hall)
- Monday & Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. (After 4:30 p.m., enter through the University Immigration Services Office)
- Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Orange Campus (Main Lobby)
- Monday & Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
One Stop Pop-Up Hours
The One Stop is coming to you! During the Fall 2024 semester, members from the One Stop will be available for pop-up hours in various locations around campus.
Staff members will be able to answer quick questions or help connect you with the resource(s) you need.
Upcoming Stops:
- Thursday, September 12, 1 - 4 p.m., Marvin K. Peterson Library
- Thursday, September 19, 12 - 2 p.m., Jeffery P. Hazell Athletic Center

Refunds and Direct Deposit
Now that the Fall add/drop period has ended, anticipated financial aid has officially been disbursing to student’s accounts. If your student account is overpaid and you are expecting a refund, the cause of the credit on a student’s account will determine whether a refund is processed automatically or if a refund request must be submitted.
Student Refunds
- If a student has a credit on their account due to excess federal financial aid (Federal Student Loans, Federal Pell Grant, etc), a refund will be processed automatically within 14 days of the funds being posted to a student’s account.
- If the credit on a student’s account is due to non-federal financial aid (private loan, outside scholarship, overpayment, etc.), students can request a refund by completing the Refund Request Form found under the Refunds tab in ePay. If a student does not want excess funds refunded, the funds will be retained and applied to future charges.
Refunds Due to Federal Parent Plus Loan
Refunds due to excess Federal Parent Plus Loan funds will be processed automatically within 14 days of the funds being posted to a student’s account. A paper check will be mailed to the parent borrower’s address as listed on their PLUS Loan application. Refunds will be issued to the student only if the parent requests it on the PLUS application.
Direct Deposit
We highly recommend students enroll in direct deposit, so they receive their funds in a safe and timely manner. Click here for instructions on how to enroll. Please note, direct deposit for PLUS Loan refunds is currently not available.

Spring 2025 Pre-Registration and Advising
Email notifications regarding pre-registration and advising for the Spring 2025 semester will be sent to students via their UNH email in early October. As a reminder, students who have a hold on their account will not be permitted to register for future semesters until their hold has been cleared. Students can check for holds in SSB (Self Service Banner) via . In SSB, click on Student > Registration > Registration Status > Select Spring 2025 > Submit.

💡 Tip of the Month
Go to Class!
If a student does not attend a class for two weeks, the instructor has the right to withdraw them at any time during the semester. If you receive federal financial aid and do not attend class and are removed from a course, Title IV (federal financial aid) funds may be cancelled and removed from your aid award per federal regulations.
