About Adriana

Hi there, I joined U New Haven in 2023 and I’m happy to be here. I have a diverse background and a passion for education, recruitment, and program management. Prior to joining I was at an engineering firm where I took the initiative to create, launch, and manage their first official paid internship program for college sophomores and juniors. My passion for education really started when I worked for Touro University where I played a pivotal role in the NY Link program’s growth. Fulfilling a long-standing desire to teach, I also had the opportunity to be an Adjunct Professor for Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication courses.

I graduated from Long Island University with a B.S. in International Business and French minor. During my time as an undergraduate student, I was very active on campus as President of LIU’s Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter and a sister of Sigma Delta Tau. I have a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Touro University.

My first professional role after my undergrad was with the NY Mets where I supervised staff working with VIP client accounts such as Jerry Seinfeld, Derek Jeter/Marlins, Reuters, etc.

In high school I was part of a program where I studied in Ecuador and achieved two major projects. One was educating the community on the importance of road safety and the other one was to fundraise resources to build a house for a family in need. What a rewarding feeling!

During my free time you will catch me in my garden, doing yoga, listening to comedy podcasts, or baking. I was born and raised in Queens, NY so you can count on me always rooting for the Rangers, Knicks, and especially the Mets.
